About AWG
Acting with Grace is a space for truth, transformation and creative embodiment. It's where acting, singing, and self- inquiry meet- a practice of coming home to your voice, your body, and your humanity.

Founded by interdisciplinary artist and teacher Julianna Grace Pirillo, Acting with Grace blends craft and consciousness: a synthesis of vocal training, emotional honesty and somatic healing.

Through workshops and private coaching, students learn not just how to perform- but how to inhabit themselves fully and bring more of their authentic expressiveness through to their work.
"You don't need to be fixed, you need to be heard."

"Last night I had a Vocal Yoga session with Julianna and I've woken up this morning with no anxiety! I feel relaxation in my body and voice feels inhabited. Julianna embodies a lifetime of experience in the craft and attunement to voice. Her sensitivity and perception is mind- blowing and with deep holding through gentleness I was taken into new realms of self. I' m feeling the confidence I was needing to do my show tomorrow. Thank you Julianna."

About Me
I came to this work through my own lifelong search for voice. Growing up in an artistic household filled with music and imagination, I found freedom in singing, acting, and dance. But I also faced silence, self-doubt, and the weight of trauma and illness. For many years, my voice felt like both a refuge and a struggle.
My path took me through professional training in acting, singing, and movement across Europe and the US- but the true breakthroughs came when I began weaving artistry with healing. Acting with Grace was born from this integration. It is the philosophy and practice that continues to heal me, and now it is the space I hold for others to discover their voices, not only as sound, but as sovereignty, creativity, and truth.

My approach is informed by decades of study across disciplines:

Approach
Everyone has a story held in their nervous system, in their tone, in the way their breath moves through their body. In this work, we listen to the body as the first instrument.

I guide clients through processes that integrate voice, emotion, and embodiment- helping them to regulate, express and create with clarity and depth.

Sessions are structured yet adaptive, intuitive in nature, trauma- informed, and designed to meet you where you are. I encourage curiosity over judgment, and self acceptance. Every moment has something to offer.
This is an inclusive and nurturing environment where I emphasize students to discover things for themselves through my guidance, the exercises, reflection, and through sharing their experience and listening to others' experiences.
Methodology
The Acting with Grace methodology draws from four primary areas:

Vocal Yoga- Understanding the voice as a whole body instrument, developing interoception by connecting to your breath, body and sound through movement based tension release and vocal alignment exercises.

Shadow Work- Exploring your Inner voices- the unconscious material that shapes voice and expression, transforming repression into creative freedom and self reclamation.

Simplicity Acting- Stripping away affected performance habits, to return to truth, stillness, and presence- here we practice the art of being and becoming, discovering and allowing character to emerge organically rather than curatively.

Singing Technique- Bridging classical and contemporary methods with somatic awareness to build an instrument that is both disciplined, alive, versatile and fully yours.
